This special election fills the seat vacated by Representative Kaohly Her. Your vote matters in shaping the future of our community in St. Paul.
Find Your Polling Place
Minnesota voters must vote at their assigned polling place on Election Day. Use the official Secretary of State tool to look up your location by address.
Absentee Voting (Vote by Mail)
Minnesota allows no-excuse absentee voting. You can request a ballot and vote from the comfort of your home.
- Absentee voting begins: January 7, 2026
- Last day to request a ballot: January 26, 2026
- Return deadline (mail): Received by 8:00 PM on January 27
- Return deadline (in person): By 3:00 PM on January 27
Early In-Person Voting
Voters in District 64A may vote early in person at the Ramsey County Elections Office. No appointment necessary!

Early Voting Hours:
- Monday–Friday (starting Jan 7): 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Saturday, January 24: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Monday, January 26: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Voter Registration
Make sure you're registered to vote! Minnesota offers flexible registration options:
- Register online or by mail: Deadline is January 21, 2026
- Same-day registration: Available during early voting and on Election Day with proof of residence
Proof of residence can include: A valid Minnesota driver's license, a utility bill, bank statement, paycheck, or government check showing your current address.
